DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop will cover the basics of 3D scanning 
 and 3D printing. Participants will gain the necessary skills in the use of 
 a 3D scanner\, then follow the steps of the printing process from start to 
 finish to create a physical model of a scan. This workshop is a joint 
 venture between the Digital Stewardship Lab\, a hands-on digitization lab 
 that provides students\, staff\, and faculty access to specialized scanning 
 equipment\, and the Open Lab @ Hillman\, a University Makerspace\, which 
 offers virtual reality exploration\, 3D printing\, 360 degree video\, vinyl 
 cutting\, and project consultation. Registration is required.
