SUMMARY:Weaving Calm: Paper\, Process\, & Presence
DESCRIPTION:Looking to explore a new craft that's affordable\,
sustainable\, and calming? Join us for a hands-on paper weaving workshop to
learn (or revisit) a simple weaving technique while experimenting with
imagery and composition.\n\nWe’ll discuss the history of women’s roles
in crafting\, as well as the meditative qualities of artmaking and the
value of slowing down through creative practice\, as you develop your own
unique woven piece\,\n\nAll materials will be provided\, and no prior
experience is needed. Come discover how transforming ordinary materials can
become an exercise in creativity\, mindfulness\, and letting
 go.\n\nRegister here.\n\nFacilitated by Madeleine Chesek-Welch\, University
