Omeka is a platform for creating digital exhibits. Using this tool, you can organize related items into collections or narrative exhibits in order to display and contextualize them. This online workshop will introduce the purpose and features of Omeka, offer examples of different uses of the platform, and include a hands-on portion where participants can investigate Omeka through guided instruction and individual experimentation. For an example of what an Omeka site can look like, check out the examples on the ULS’s Omeka page.
