The Linux command line (or terminal or shell) can be found in many research computing environments, and sometimes it’s your only choice of interface with a system. It’s also handy for certain software such as Git or other utilities that are available only on the command line. In this hands-on workshop, we will learn how to navigate and work in this environment.

Workshop preparation: Windows users will need to install Git (with Git Bash): https://git-scm.com/downloads. MacOS and Linux users do not need to install anything.

This workshop is part of our Dealing with Data Series.
