Are you curious about what exactly fair use is? Have you ever wondered how you can use an image in your academic work even if the author won't give you permission? This workshop will highlight some fair use cases from the last forty years, tracing the relative importance of the four statutory factors and their subfactors. Participants will then be asked to practice applying the fair use factors to some real life examples.
