During this interactive workshop, you will learn how to: 

• use Adobe Illustrator to create a 2D digital design, 
• safely use the Epilog Zing laser to cut and engrave your design out of a sheet of wood or acrylic.

After this workshop, participants should be able to:

• Create a design suitable for laser cutting and engraving
• Enter material-specific laser settings
• List all personal safety hazards involved
• Describe how to reserve equipment and for how long
