This interactive workshop will cover the basics of 3D scanning and model editing. Participants will gain the necessary skills in the use of the Digital Stewardship Lab’s 3D scanner, as well as an understanding of the requirements for both digital and physical output. Participants will learn to use MeshLab, MeshMixer and TinkerCad.
The Digital Stewardship Lab is a hands-on digitization lab that provides students, staff, and faculty access to specialized scanning equipment. It is supported by a scanning specialist who can provide training, instruction, and digitization project consultation.
