The Archive Theatre Project presents...

SALK: The Man Behind the Vaccine

How did Pittsburgh become the center of the polio vaccine? How did a changing America alter the trajectory of the "War Against Polio"?

Join us for a staged reading of Jonas Salk and the story of Pitt's polio team. Produced by Pitt doctoral students, this archive-inspired reading draws on the Max A. Lauffer Papers from Archives & Special Collections. Join us for a talkback with archivists and the producers following the reading. Light refreshments to be provided.
