 roots in centuries-old East Asian bookmaking\, stab binding offers a 
 distinctive combination of structure and ornament\, making the stitching 
 itself an integral part of the design.\n\nLearn variations and experiment 
 with colorful threads and papers to create your own small softcover 
 notebooks. Along the way\, you’ll gain an introduction to basic 
 bookbinding tools\, materials\, and techniques while discovering how simple 
 changes in stitching create striking geometric patterns.\n\nDesigned with 
 beginners in mind\, this workshop is an opportunity to slow down\, make
