Event box
As artificial intelligence (AI) technology continues to be developed and integrated into the world around us, questions about privacy, ethics, and its place in different spheres of our lives continue to grow. In celebration of Peer Review Week, join panelists from around the Pitt community for an open conversation exploring artificial intelligence, its growing role in completing and communicating scholarship, and its broader consequences for the academy and higher education.
This will be an interactive session, and all are welcome to attend and/or participate in whatever capacity they feel comfortable.
Peer Review Week (PRW), founded in 2015, is an annual, global event celebrating the vital role peer review plays in ensuring the quality and integrity of research. This year’s theme, Peer Review in the AI Era, invites a timely global discussion on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the peer review landscape and the broader scholarly publishing ecosystem.
