Join the University Library System, Pitt Economics Department and the Pitt Women in Economics Club for a Women in Economics Symposium watch party!
The Women in Economics Symposium is an annual symposium hosted by the St. Louis Fed designed to connect young women with accomplished women in the economics profession who share the story of their career journey—helping inspire women who wonder if economics is a profession they should (and actually could) pursue. At this year's symposium, you will hear from exciting role models with fascinating careers in economics while also learning some practical tips about job searching and more. The 2025 symposium will be held Thursday, March 27, and feature keynote speakers Cecilia Rouse, president of the Brookings Institution, and Ali Wolf, Chief Economist at Zonda.
Pitt students will be able to view the symposium virtually here at Pitt for free! Join us to watch this historic event in Posvar Hall Room 4940 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Come and go as you would like. Registration is required. Snacks will be provided.
