This free drop-in event offers a unique opportunity to discover original materials, rare books, and newspapers that illuminate the lives and experiences of queer individuals in Pittsburgh and beyond.  

Event highlights include: 

  • An immersive display showcasing local LGBTQIA+ newspapers and university archives 
  • A fun and creative button-making station 
  • A nostalgic trip back in time with screenings of drag shows from the early 2000s 

This collaborative event, brought to you by the University of Pittsburgh Library System and the Office of Inclusion and Belonging, is a celebration of diversity, inclusivity, and the enduring spirit of the LGBTQIA+ community. Don't miss this chance to learn, connect, and celebrate!
