Some researchers are on-board with the idea of data sharing yet feel uncertain about the preparatory steps to make their data reusable, prior to posting. Or they already participate in data sharing, with a sense that they could better prepare their data, but they’re unsure of exactly how. In this online, 20-minute presentation, we’ll discuss some low-effort practices and rules-of-thumb for increasing your project’s reproducibility and reusability. Topics include data dictionaries, open file formats, README files, and licensing. Time will be available for Q&A.
