Effective data visualization is vital for communicating your research and making an impact. This presentation has two parts. In Part I, we present recommended conceptual practices and rules-of-thumb, with specific examples. Part II is hands-on exercise using Tableau Public, a free data visualization tool. You can create interactive graphs, dashboards, maps, and tables from virtually any data. (Participants must create a free account in order to save their work.)
Please check in with the presenter for your workshop or contact ULS-DigitalScholarshipServices@pitt.edu if you have any pre-event questions. All are welcome at online events!
