Open scholarship is a practice of increasing the accessibility and reusability of all of the products of scholarly work; a foundational component of the practice of open scholarship is sharing your work. Increase the robustness, reproducibility, and impact of your work, by sharing manuscripts, data, supplemental files, and more to the network of open access repositories and archives. We will cover both the “why” and the “how” of sharing your work with a survey of different types of repositories, considerations for where to share, and how to identify copyright status for published works.
